Veterinary Staff
Dr.
Diane Richter has known that veterinary medicine was
her calling since the age of six. By
age thirteen, she worked part-time as a veterinary technician and
continued to work as a tech
until attending the University of Florida where she graduated in
1991 (Go Gators!!). Dr. Richter
continued to work as a veterinarian in the state of Florida until
moving with her three young
sons to New Hampshire in 2003.
In
2006, Diane decided that the time was right
to follow her dream of opening her own practice. She fell in love
with this charming 1781 Cape
Cod house in Bradford and renovated it into the beautiful veterinary
office that we have today.
Diane continues her passion of helping animals in this one-veterinarian
practice. When she is not
in the office, she loves to ride horses and spend time with her
family and their three shelties,
Ginger, Suzy and Peaches. She also spends time with her pet rooster
appropriately named by her boys ...
Chicken Nugget.
Diane
Richter has a gift with animals and has the ability to make her
clients feel
welcome with her infectious laugh! She is truly a wonderful veterinarian.

Sheri
Valiquet has been a veterinary technician for Compassion
Veterinary Hospital since August of 2007 and her passion for
animals makes
it clear that this is what she is meant to do. She lives with
her husband, Steve and two sons in Sutton along with their many
furry children. She is definitely a pug fanatic and has three
of her own, Smutty, Pugnut and their newest pug puppy - Tyra.
She has two cats, Tiger and Gretchen , a dove named Stewy and
her oldest son's hamster named Darts. Plans for the future include
a great dane (someday) and a lifetime with pugs!

Karin
Thyng has been a veterinary technician for over twenty
years. With her experience and
natural ease around animals, she is a huge asset to Compassion
Veterinary Hospital. She has
an incredible amount of knowledge in many aspects of veterinary
medicine and is wonderful for
answering questions that our clients may have about their pets.
When she is not working, she is
definitely an outdoors type of person. During those New Hampshire
winter days, Karin and her
husband, Craig, like to brave the cold on snowmobiles. She also
enjoys softball and plays with a
league during the nicer months. Karin and Craig share their home
with their three cats.

Sharon
Begin has had a love of animals since childhood, but this
is her first opportunity to work in the veterinary field.
She had started out as a receptionist but is quickly learning to
assist Dr. Richter with patients as well as learn more of the technical
side from both Karin and Sheri. She and her husband have two teenage
boys and live in North Sutton. Together they really enjoy being out
in nature, having hiked the 48 4000' mountains in New Hampshire.
They
also enjoy skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months. They share
their home with two cats, Shadow and Gordon, and a Shiba Inu named
K2. Sharon's hobbies are painting and photography.
